DEA's New Year-Round Drug Take Back Program

We get asked this question all the time: "What should I do with my old medication?" Well, here's your answer.

Getting rid of old medication and prescriptions you no longer need can be a challenging quest. It's dangerous to leave them lying around- children, pets, or other adults could find them and ingest them. It's also unsafe to throw them away or flush them down the toilet. So, what should you do?!

Today, the DEA announced a new year-round drug takeback program. Participating practices and pharmacies will be able to take your old medication back, without question, year-round instead of on just random days.
