Lamara Ford, MSW, MSN, PMHNP-BC, APN, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with prescriptive authority. She serves clients at Peak Interactive Wellness in Denver, Colorado. Lamara has extensive experience in acute care, crisis, and outpatient settings providing mental health care across the lifespan. Lamara sees ages 16+.

Lamara provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and trauma sequelae. Her particular interests include LGBTQIA+ mental health and perinatal mental health. She received specialized training in perinatal mood disorders and psychopharmacology through Postpartum Support International to work with individuals experiencing perinatal anxiety, depression, and grief/loss.

​Lamara strives to provide comprehensive and holistic care, inspired by her unique training as a social worker and nurse practitioner. She is passionate about patient advocacy, social justice, providing inclusive care, and promoting patient empowerment. 

Lamara believes in using a patient-centered treatment approach that considers wellness's mind-body connection and multifactorial nature. She is conservative in her prescribing practices and can provide lifestyle recommendations to improve overall physical and mental health.
