Kayla Sharpe, MSN, PMHNP-BC, APN, is a master’s prepared board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with prescriptive authority, providing treatment across the lifespan. She currently serves clients at Peak Interactive Wellness in Denver, Colorado. Kayla sees all ages. 

Kayla graduated from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). At Peak Interactive Wellness, she provides treatment, including medication management for depression, anxiety, attention disturbances, trauma, bipolar disorder, behavioral issues, substance abuse, and problematic thought patterns. 

Kayla treats clients from childhood onward, emphasizing treating those with autism spectrum disorders and inmate reentry. Her ideal client/special interest population are those with ADHD, mood/anxiety disorders, autism, children/adolescents, those reintegrating from incarceration, and veterans.

Kayla has extensive experience in both pediatric and adult inpatient behavioral health, as well as behavioral health in the correctional setting. She believes in a multi-faceted treatment approach that considers the client's mental and physical health. Kayla is conservative in her prescribing practices.

Kayla enjoys spending time with her animals/family, swimming, and exploring Colorado when not working.
